Many black threads will be used to create dimension and texture in the black and white areas. Rainbow Gallery metallics, Caron threads, & Planet Earth Threads, along with beads & fabulous 3-D claws will be used to create her captivating design. Moon on the Water by Wendy Moore
March 29 and 30, 2025

Find peace watching the water ripple the reflection of a large, romantic moon. With the twinkling of the night sky, the moon’s reflection comes to life in small crescent stitches and Silk Lame braid. The moon’s craters take shape with Bargello twist in soft silks. Stitch the glow with long stitches on canvas the color of night sky. A small spit of land, a duck, and a tree give shadowed perspective to the design and use unique versions of crescent stitches to create the sparse foliage of the tree’s silhouette.
